This specialization is designed for caseworkers, probation and parole officers, juvenile specialists, law enforcement agents, and others who want to play a stronger role in making the criminal justice system more effective.

This specialization has transitioned from the Master of Science in Human Services program to the Master of Science in Public Safety program.
